serpentine colt motif on the rig above
the holster. The wording "Colt
Collectors Assn. 2004, Portland, OR" is
carved across the back. Further embellishments
include a gold plated belt buckle,
cartridges, and decorative accents.
Inscribed under the belt portion of the
holster is the wording "Custom made for CCA
2004, Portland, OR by James R. Mills."Mills." |

Remarks: The above described revolver has been
specially created as the Colt Collectors Association, Inc. auction
firearm for the year 2004. The decorative embellishments including 24K
gold inlays are as follows:
- Gold inlaid serial number "2004CCA"
- One thin gold inlaid band at the barrel muzzle and one wide band
extending down to the ejector tube at the rear of the barrel.
- Two gold inlaid bands of varying widths at the rear of the
cylinder.
- Gold inlaid ".45 Colt" caliber marking on the barrel
- Gold inlaid line border on the hammer
- Flush gold inlaid Rampant Colt trademark on the left side of the
frame
- Flush gold inlaid Serpentine Colt logo on the top of the
backstrap
- Class C+ engraving including the front sight and hammer
