CCA 2002 Show Gun Specifications

Model: Colt Single Action Army Revolver
Serial Number: CCA2002 engraved in flush inlaid gold.
Caliber: .45 Colt
Barrel: 16" (special length)
Finish: Full blued finish in the style of the period. Gold plated shoulder stock.
Sights:

Beach front sight, folding leaf rear sight.

Grips: The grips of circassian burl walnut and have a cutout of the State of Texas with 24K gold raised star indicating the State Capitol, Austin.
Engravers: Deluxe Engraved and Gold Inlaid by Master Engraver Dennis Kies, formerly of Colt Firearms in Hartford and presently the owner of Kies Graphics, Inc.
Deluxe Features: American style scroll engraving.

24K gold flush filigree scroll covering flutes and 24K flush inlays around the rear of the cylinder representing the six National Flags that have flown over Texas.

  • The Eagle & Snake (Texas under Mexico 1821-1836).

  • Texas joining the union and becoming the 28th State.

The Shoulder stock has a line cut chuck wagon that symbolized the life and work of The Cowboy.
 

Case: Special standup presentation case, all hand made with walnut trim, built by Les Yoder, which allows the viewer to see the gun from all angles. Top has a full piano Hinge' that allows easy removal of the gun. The gun is shown with the Shoulderstock attached and there is even a full mirror mounted on the base to see the underside of the gun. Also included is a wooden notebook to hold the factory letter and all the photos of the engraving of the gun and the making of the case.
